The weighing job changes with the plant.

A batch, a truck and a harvest do not use the weight the same way. Find the plant closest to yours. Each one shows what is weighed, the steps, and where the number needs to go.

Box check weigh

Sample

20.02 kg · Box on the scale, label printed

Batch and pack

Materials go in by weight. A pack or a load comes out, and the record stays with the job.

Pharmaceuticals

Weigh the materials into the batch, check the pack, and keep the lot on the same record.

  1. Materials are weighed against the batch
  2. The batch record keeps each weight
  3. Packs are check-weighed against the limits
  4. An in-tolerance pack can be labelled
  5. The lot stays tied to the batch

Chemicals

Issue materials by weight, record the batch, and check the filled pack.

  1. Each raw material is weighed as it is issued
  2. The batch gets a code and a combined weight
  3. The weight sent onward is the batch weight
  4. Filled packs are check-weighed against limits

Food and beverage

Recipe weights, pack checks and lot labels, without a second typing of the number.

  1. Ingredients are weighed to the job
  2. The batch is recorded
  3. Packs or cases are check-weighed
  4. An OK pack is labelled
  5. The lot points back to the batch

Cement and ready-mix

Keep the batched weight and the truck weight on the delivery, not in two books.

  1. Materials are weighed for the load
  2. The batch weight is stored
  3. The truck is weighed
  4. The ticket uses those weights

Truck and gate

A vehicle is weighed in and out. The net weight is what gets booked or settled.

Scrap and recycling

Weigh the truck in and out, then settle by material type and quality.

  1. The truck and supplier are identified
  2. Weigh in
  3. Material type and quality are recorded
  4. Weigh out, and the net weight is stored
  5. The amount uses your rate for that material and quality

Quarries and aggregates

Weigh trucks in and out and settle the load by material, without retyping the ticket.

  1. The truck is identified
  2. Weigh in
  3. The material is recorded
  4. Weigh out
  5. The ticket can go to accounts

Logistics and transport

A gate weight that reaches the system the load is booked in, without typing it again.

  1. The vehicle is identified at the gate
  2. Weigh in
  3. Weigh out
  4. The weight is sent on by API, MQTT, HTTP or a file

Harvest

The crop is graded and packed. Those weights become the day's production and the wages report.

Agriculture and harvest

Grade and pack the crop, then report the day's production and the weights payroll uses.

  1. The harvest is brought in from the field
  2. It is graded and sorted
  3. Packs are weighed and labelled
  4. A daily production report is generated
  5. A daily weight-by-worker report is generated for wages
